Which connector does your iPad have?

Do you want to charge your iPad extra fast?

It charges your iPad 2 times faster compared to when you don't use a fast charger. You can charge your iPad Pro and iPad Air even faster with a 30W iPad Pro charger. A full charge takes 2 hours, instead of up to 10.5 hours when you don't use a fast charger. You can also easily use this 30W fast charger for other iPad models or your iPhone. This isn't harmful, because the charger will never supply too much power.
it takes this long to charge up to 100%

Can you use old cables and chargers?
You can still use some old chargers for your iPad. You don't need an iPad charger from Apple, a different brand works as well. The most important thing is that the cable has the same connector as your iPad. In addition, you should check if you have a fast charger. Fast chargers have an oval USB-C port, regular chargers have a rectangular USB-A port. Without a fast charger, charging takes a long time. It can take up to 11 hours. Keep in mind that old USB-A cables don't fit on these fast chargers.
