How do you register your solar panels with the network operator?
Register solar panels in 3 steps
You're obligated by law to register your solar panels with your network operator. You can easily do this in 3 steps:
- Step 1. Create an account.
- Step 2. Enter your information.
- Step 3. Send your information.
Step 1: create an account
Go to Energieleveren.nl. This is the joint website of all network operators. Enter your postal code, house number, and the last 6 digits of your fuse box number. Do you have a smart meter? You'll find this number under or above the barcode. If you have a different meter, you'll recognize the number by 'Nr.' or 'No.' in front of the number sequence.
Step 2: enter your information
After your registration, you'll receive an email from your network operator in which you can confirm your account. Enter the following information:
- Your personal information
- Total power of the inverter
- Number of solar panels
- Power per solar panel
- Brand of the inverter
- Type of inverter
- Presence of electricity storage, enter 'Not present'
- The start date, which is the date we installed the solar panels
You can find all this information in the quote.
Step 3: send your information
At the last step, you send your information. Your network operator will check whether your energy meter is suitable for feed-in. If this is the case, your network operator will contact your energy supplier. That way, everything will be set correctly for the feed-in tariff. You're now ready to generate green power.
