As a result, your operating system and demanding programs like AutoCAD boot in just a few seconds. The write speed of up to 2600MB/s ensures that you can transfer a 30GB video to your SSD within 12 seconds. Thanks to the updated cell structure, this SSD is more energy-efficient than comparable models. That means your laptop will have a longer battery life. You can also manage the performance of your SSD with Samsung Magician software. With this version of the Samsung 980, you bring home a total storage capacity of 500GB. This is enough storage space for 50,000 photos of 10MB or 50 Full HD movies of 2 hours.

Also pay attention to the correct connection: M or B notch!

  • Software to clone a disk does not work. Only seems to work from Smasung to Samsung. But the program just hangs.

Data Migration from Smasung. It looks slick but doesn't work. You're better off using Macrium Reflect Free Edition.
