I bought this SanDisk SSD after my previous hard drive suddenly broke down. I travel a lot and take my drive with me often, so it's ideal that this SSD is less prone to bumps and drops. The size surprised me, this SSD is even smaller than I imagined. For use on the Mac you have to reformat it, but that's done in no time. Furthermore, the disk is very fast, a backup of my entire laptop (180+ Gb) even with a USB-A connection only took about 2 hours. Despite the fact that SSD drives have fallen in price in recent years, they are still relatively pricey; at this price, you might have 3 to 4 times as much storage for an HDD. But, of course, there are high speed, good fall resistance and small size on the other hand!
