I bought the router because the USG reached a maximum speed of 85mb (with Threat Protection on). This is fast enough to handle the 600mb of my provider completely. Software to manage the router is built-in (previously you needed the cloud key). Migration fast (< 15 minutes). Not suitable for the beginner!

Bought as an upgrade from a USG Pro. The speed increase is seriously noticeable. I can now easily turn on the full Intrusion Protection, run several hundred MB's of backup traffic, 4k Streaming and cloud services, while simultaneously running my VPN between home and office at full bandwidth. Great, at least the equipment at home is no longer a bottleneck. And that with a much lower noise production and heat development. It's nice when everything is in the meter cupboard. The other reason for switching is that I want to switch to Unifi Protect, and maybe Access as well. I need to gain more experience with this, but the first impression with the G3 Pro and the G3 Flex cameras is: finally a system that integrates flawlessly!
