JBL Live 660NC: excellent value for money
With the JBL Live 660NC, I can listen to music continuously for 50 hours, even with the noise canceling turned on. I think this battery life is a big plus, as is the noise canceling. I just don't like the equalizer in the app.

Tight Headphones
When I put the headphones on my head, I immediately notice that the clamping force is quite high. This means that the headphones are fairly tight on my head, which is not necessarily a bad thing in my opinion. In addition, the ear cups are quite small. For me personally this is not a problem. If you have slightly larger ears, I can imagine that this is less ideal.

Noise canceling works well
I use the headphones in the office, where it is occasionally very noisy. When I put the headphones on my head, I immediately notice that noise and other monotonous tones are filtered out well. Even voices, when my colleagues are discussing, are well muted at a slightly higher volume. It makes these headphones ideal for both on the road and in the office.

Solid bass, but not too overpowering
At JBL you always expect a solid bass. This is no different with these headphones. The low tones are fairly strong and dominant, but not too overpowering. Both the middle and high tones still get enough space. This way I can still hear enough detail in my favorite songs, in addition to the powerful bass.

Equalizer is disappointing
In the My JBL Headphones app I adjust various settings of the headphones, including the sound via an equalizer. I myself like an extra powerful bass, so I select this option in the app. The sound just doesn't get any better. The low tones now ensure that the other tones get much less space and the sound. The factory settings sound is the best for me.

I chose these headphones to test how noise canceling works and I am very pleased with them. Ambient noise such as other people talking or noise is filtered out very nicely so that you can enjoy silence or music. The sound quality of the music is also very good. Also calling, the sound is good and clear. The disadvantage is that noise canceling during calls only works for the person wearing the headphones and not for the person on the other end of the line. But I think if you want that too you will end up in a more expensive segment. Using and pairing is quick and easy. And the extra functions via the app for the noise canceling are also simple. The headphones look solid and beautiful. Feels solid. It is a bit heavy and tight on the head in the beginning, but that can take some getting used to. These headphones are perfect for traveling and listening to music. Because of the beautiful sound it gives, but even more because of the peace that the noise canceling gives

Good headphones! Before this I had the 650 series. Design is nicer and the automatic shutdown is a good improvement. I read some reviews about too tight. I have a nice round head and it was indeed a bit tight at first. But hey, not everyone eats and drinks as much as I do. If JBL made headphones for my head size, they wouldn't fit slim people. Unfortunately for me, I had to bite through the sour apple. In the end, the headphones also adapted to my head. Good thing, too
