Crop sensorThe APS-C sensor of the EOS R7 has a crop factor. Your image is zoomed in more than with a full-frame sensor. Because of this, you can multiply the focal length of your lens by 1.6. That's useful when you capture distant subjects. It makes it easier to get athletes and wildlife up close, for example. With the electronic shutter, you can shoot up to 30 fps. This way, you don't miss activity moments.
AutofocusThe autofocus points of this camera cover the entire screen. You can focus right to the edge of your image. If you follow a moving subject, the camera keeps it accurately in focus. It recognizes people, animals, and even vehicles. If you bring a car into focus, a focus frame automatically appears around it.
VideoYou record with the EOS R7 in 4K resolution at 60 fps without the camera cropping your image. If you record a professional video, you can use Canon Log 3. These images have a wide dynamic range that allows you to adjust the colors of your video afterwards without loss of image quality.
