PocketBook InkPad Eo

It broke down the second day I got the e-reader. I haven't even been able to read four pages of it yet. Unfortunately it was my own fault and it fell off my bedside table, but the screen is extremely fragile and breaks very easily. By the way, there is extensive warning that the screen is so vulnerable, when you open a package you immediately see a red paper with a warning about this. In practice, it makes this e-reader very sensitive and unusable to take anywhere, it will be broken before you know it. I have had a Galaxy Tab for years and the screen is much stronger, there is not a scratch on it after years of use, I have also been using another e-reader for years without any problems. The screen is not very readable anyway, the screen reflects a bit like a glossy magazine does. The software is also very disappointing, you can create to-do items and notes, but then cannot synchronize them with Outlook or Google, so that has little added value. PocketBook does not provide support either, I was on hold for half an hour and then the connection was disconnected.

Very nice e-reader, nicely finished with an aluminum edge. Despite the fact that it is heavier than the Inkpad X, it does not feel too heavy. Large battery capacity. Very nice display on the screen, this is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen (>25 e-readers worn out). The lighting is also completely even, even if you set the color temperature to orange (something that was never 100% successful with Kobo, for example). You can see from everything that it is a premium product. As far as I'm concerned, it is certainly worth the price, especially with the nice discount that Coolblue is now giving. However, there is 1 downside that made me return it (almost with tears in my eyes): it cannot be worked on my Macbook in any way. I have all my books on it, but no matter what I tried, I could not get a single book on the Eo. Not with a cable, not with the well-known transfer programs Apple -> Android, but also not with Wifi. There will probably be a software update at some point after which it will work, but to put such an expensive device on hold until an update is available... As soon as an update is available, I will be there in a flash to order a copy.
