Beko set: saves water with every wash

By placing the Beko B5T60230M on top of the Beko B5WT5104111M, I save water every time I wash thanks to the SaveWater technology. Both the washing machine and the tumble dryer have an extra spacious drum. This allows me to wash and dry a very large load of bed linen in one go.

First impression
What strikes me about this washing machine and tumble dryer set is that they fit together very well in terms of design. Both appliances have a modern look thanks to the dark gray housing and glass doors. The programs are located around the rotary knob on both models. The programs are easy to read on the control panel and the screen responds quickly to my choices. I don't have to press hard on the touch keys. I also see that I can operate both appliances with my phone. I easily connect the machines to my home network and see them directly in the Beko app. With this app I can follow the progress of the programs remotely and add extra programs.

Washing machine
One of the things that first strikes me is that the drum is very spacious. Although there are only two of us living at home, we still have a large laundry basket full every week. Thanks to the spacious 10-kilogram drum, I don't have to wash as often. With the most economical program, this takes just under 4 hours. Fortunately, the washing machine also has a full-fledged quick wash program. With this, I can clean a half-loaded drum in an hour. With the touch keys, I can expand most washing programs with a steam phase, which reduces creases, so that I can finish ironing faster.

Tumble dryer
The tumble dryer also has a very spacious 10-kilogram drum. All the clean laundry that comes out of the washing machine fits in here. The dryer has several programs, but I actually use the cotton eco program the most. This is the most energy-efficient way to dry. I also adjust the programs on the dryer with extra options. For example, I choose an extra dry wash and a low drying temperature for almost every drying cycle. I use the separate steam program when I want to freshen up my favorite T-shirt without washing it.

SaveWater saving
During drying, the moisture from my laundry ends up in a condensation reservoir. What is special about this set is that the washing machine uses this clean water for a wash cycle. This saves me about 5 liters of water per wash. On average, I save up to 1,150 liters per year. To take advantage of this saving, I had to place the tumble dryer on top of the washing machine.
