First, you have to slide the included seal across the end of the cable. This makes the USB port waterproof and you can leave the solar panel outside when it rains. You can always put the solar panel in the right angle thanks to the adjustable arm. Aim the solar panel to the south. That way, it catches the most light. Note: you can only connect this solar panel to TP-Link Tapo cameras that work on batteries.
