OtterBox Defender Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max Back Cover Black

I dropped my other phone 15 stories in the past. OtterBox Defender is the only case I trust.

A solid case that fits comfortably in the hand and has good anti-slip properties. The buttons are reasonably easy to operate. Based on other reviews, I expected the case to be on the large side, but to be honest, I don't think so, provided you don't have the plastic cover with belt clip/stand. It is on the heavy side. I thought the included instructions were very unclear, so I looked for a video on the internet on how to place the case on the phone. This is not very easy, but once you get the hang of it, it is doable. The cover over the charging opening is difficult to open and even more difficult to close. The stand also takes some figuring out, but you can turn it and click it into place. The phone is therefore very upright, so the viewing angle is not very ideal when it is placed on a standard height dining table/desk. And the phone wobbles when you operate the screen, if you use the stand. I think the raised edge of the case is on the low side, so I am somewhat afraid that the screen will still be hit if it falls. With my previous iPhone I had a different case with a higher edge, but the screen still broke in the event of a fall. And be careful with a screen protector, the bluebuild screen protector works well, provided it is placed perfectly in the middle, together with this case. The first time the screen protector was slightly too far to the left, causing the case to push the protector loose. An extra wide screen protector is probably not compatible with this case (also stated in the product description). It gets slightly warm when charging. All in all, definitely recommended if looks are not your priority and you just want a nice case that offers good protection and has a good grip.

Because I have an Otterbox defender case, I opted for this protector instead of an extra wide one. This protector goes well with that case, provided it is placed perfectly in the middle. Installation was easy, instructions were clear and the supplied wipes and stickers were easy to use. Screen protector also looks good and screen operates fine.
