Sound louder / softer is visible on the TV, sound and image are the same. However, I have to puzzle with the settings to properly display both the low and high tones. Too much low tones for my taste straight out of the box. The 7-band equalizer unfortunately does not work. I can adjust the settings for the different bands / frequencies, but this does not affect the sound. Perhaps the equalizer function only works with a Samsung TV.
