Because this projector is a short throw projector, you already have a 1m wide projection when you place the projector half a meter from the wall. The Optoma GT2000HDR has a throw ratio of 0.496:1, which means you can place the projector about 0.5m away from the screen for a 1m wide projection. For a 2m wide projection, you can double this distance to 1m. Be sure to first check where you want to put the projector and if there's space.
