The emergency contacts who receive this emergency call on their own mobile phone (first you receive a text message, then you are automatically called) do not even get to speak to the person in need. The emergency call hangs in a kind of loop and repeats the same pre-programmed tune over and over again: "This is an emergency call ... blablabla". When you try to call the person in need yourself, you are told in English that the telephone number is not available! The person in need must first turn off their mobile phone and then turn it on again to reset everything and cancel the emergency call. Only afterwards can you call and speak to the person in need.
This is too absurd for words. There is no way you can get an older person in need who is confused and panicking on the phone.
