With the Eufy SoloCam S40 Solar 2K, you get stand-alone cameras. The battery lasts longer because it's solar-powered. About 2 hours of direct sunlight is enough to power the camera for an entire day. The Eufy SoloCam stands alone, so it works without HomeBase, unlike other EufyCams. The camera records in sharp 2K resolution. It also records video in color at night instead of black and white, like many other cameras. That's because it has a spotlight. The IP camera detects motion and notifies you via the app. This app also allows you to talk to a visitor. If you want to scare someone, you can make a siren go off. It's easy to install the Eufy Spotlight Cam Solar 2K, because it's wireless.
