In the end it's a standalone headset so it won't be as good as a vive or valve index but: The headset is very light and the weight is also balanced by having the battery at the back. The resolution and FOV is also very good for the price. Controllers are quite small so not good for people with big hands especially with the way the tracking rings are set. But since Coolblue has a 30-day return, I recommend that you just try it out and see if it bothers you. I have small hands so this doesn't bother me. The software is based on android and really still in its early years. Standalone games are also mediocre. My recommendation: This headset if you mainly want to play PCVR, this allows you to play all games on Steam. Use Virtual Desktop (20 euros in the pico store, download the virtual desktop assistant for free on PC) do not use the built-in Pico Assistant. Quest 2 if you mainly want to play standalone, the quality is slightly less but the software and game library is just much better.

Bought these VR glasses because these are the first glasses with decent specs for a decent price. Moreover, you are not forced to have a facebook account. This linked sale only came about because a boy with a lot of money could buy a company with good VR glasses. The pico beats the "meta"quest 2 on almost all fronts and is especially comfortable. For me an excellent purchase without being forced to do something I do not support.

As you can see, I did not buy this device for gaming, but to replace my 3D TV. I am also interested in 360 and 180 video. I play the 3D discs on my 3D BluRay reader to stream to the Pico via my laptop. For that I need: - A 3D BluRay player of course. - An HDMI splitter that strips the HDCP signal. Get one that can handle 4K. - A video capture dongle with an HDMI connection on one side and a USB connection on the other. - VLC software on your computer. You start this with the following command line (put this in the target of your shortcut) "C:Program Files (x86)VideoLANVLCvlc.exe" dshow:// :dshow-vdev="USB Video" :dshow-adev="Digital Audio Interface (USB Digital Audio)" :dshow-aspect-ratio="16: 9" :dshow-size=1920x1080 : :live-caching=300 :dshow-fps=24 - a PC/laptop with a sufficiently powerful graphics card. My laptop has an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 and that's about it. With the sound there are more interruptions, but I solve that by setting up my surround system. - Of course you also need Virtual Desktop streamer for this. From the examples on the Pico, 360 video also works quite well. But be aware that only from 8K you have decent video. And you won't find that on YouTube where the limit is 4K. So that will be a bit of a wait. A major disadvantage of the system is that you cannot adjust images with brightness, contrast, color as with a normal TV. As a result, the images are less sparkling than with a well-adjusted 3D TV. But here too no problems with headaches or other inconveniences . Comparable to a passive 3D system. So mr. Cameron, I'm ready for Avatar II ! :)
