With the KitchenAid 5KES6403EBM Matte Black, you can make 1 or 2 espressos in one go. A milk pitcher and separate tamper are included, so you can get started right away. The piston machine has smart temperature sensors. During the preparation proces, the machine keeps the water temperature constant and within the correct range for an espresso. The final result? A rich espresso with creamy crema. You press the coffee in the portafilter. The portafilter has a flat bottom. That way, you can tamp your ground coffee evenly. The piston machine has a steam wand to froth and heat up milk with. This allows you to turn an espresso into a milk specialty like a latte, cappuccino, or an espresso macchiato.
