There was nothing wrong with the delivery, and it was even faster than expected. *laptop hardware* I think the laptop is very nicely designed. A very unobtrusive matte black housing with a subtle Victus logo. The only drawback is that there are quickly greasy fingerprints on the housing that are not easy to polish off. The keyboard is very pleasant, and thanks to the white backlight it is also easy to use in low light. Furthermore, the laptop is relatively quiet during use, you can hear the cooling a bit, but not disturbing in my experience. With light use, the laptop is passively cooled, so it is completely silent. I can't say much about the battery life because I mainly use the laptop on the charger. The cord of the charger is also a bit on the short side for the sake of beauty. When I sit on the couch and plug the cord into the socket directly behind me above the armrest, there is actually a constant voltage on the cable because the charger itself is just lying on the floor. Overall I am very satisfied with the hardware. *laptop software* I am less satisfied with the software. Firstly, I find it very annoying that Windows pushes you on all sides to participate in their entire ecosystem via a Microsoft account - which I don't like at all. It's made very difficult for you to create an "offline account" for your computer, even after you do, you're bombarded on all sides with requests to sign in with a Microsoft account for all Windows apps. Very annoying. I'm afraid you'll have to deal with that anyway unless you want to start using Linux. Then there's the huge amount of bloatware that HP has installed for you unsolicited. Be prepared to spend some time uninstalling applications. I get that this is how it works with OEM versions and how HP can include "free" Windows, but I would have been very happy if I had the option - possibly at an extra cost - to get a laptop with a full and clean version to choose from Windows.
