The Elro Blue Line CBFS58R 5-Pack is a set of 5 linkable smoke detectors that make sure that you get a warning throughout your house in case of fire. You can link the detectors to each other without a WiFi signal. This way, all detectors go off simultaneously when there's smoke development somewhere in your home. The smoke detectors have a replaceable battery that lasts 1 year. You don't need to replace the smoke detectors themselves. The smoke detectors have an alarm signal of 85dB. That means you can hear the detectors clearly on the floors where they hang.
Note: the smoke detector has a 10-year lifespan. The batteries last about 1 year.
