Are you looking for a cable to charge your mobile? Then this is an excellent and sustainable choice. Are you planning to connect your external hard drive to your laptop? Then read on. Because it seems like a great cable at first glance and I was hoping for good value for money, I bought this cable. Once I started transferring video and then editing these videos, I noticed that it was not smooth and even slow. When I looked for the bottleneck, I saw that my laptop was doing fine, but that the problem lay with the disk. That is a modern SSD with theoretically high speeds, so the problem probably turned out to be this cable. This product page states that the cable is suitable for data transfer. That works, but not quickly. Information about the USB version (USB 3.0, 3.1, 3.2 or 4.0) is missing, as are the theoretical maximum speeds. This information seems to be missing from (almost?) all USB C cables on Coolblue. I now bought a USB C cable with version 4.0, up to 40 Gbp/s, from another webshop for a little less money. The transfer speed of data to and from my hard drive has increased tenfold(!). tl;dr: Excellent quality cable, so an excellent choice for charging. More than enough to connect a hard drive. It's a pity that that information is missing from the website.

Even when unpacking, the stiffness of the cable disappointed me. Will be intended to increase durability and hope cable becomes more flexible in use. In addition, after a few days of use, I saw loose loops in the braided casing. Plugs work well and fit securely in various devices and chargers. Length is nice.

This cable perfectly complements my Anker power block to charge my laptop quickly. The length comes in handy if you're not right next to the outlet while working and charging someplace. Recommended.
