Medela Freestyle Flex

Product is great. Together with my girlfriend we were not very “at home” in the world of breast pumps, because we recently had our first child. Initially had taken a manual breast pump (Medela Harmony and another similar product), but noticed that production did not get off to a good start. After a long search, our eye fell on the Medela Freestyle Flex, but we found it relatively expensive. However, in retrospect, we are certainly happy that we bought this product given the good experiences.

The product is pricey compared to other brands. If the pump works, it is fine to use, but unfortunately the pump broke after 3 months. I ended up going without a pump for 4 weeks (if it was up to Medela) so I had to get another one as I depend on the pump due to my work outside the home. The service is really very bad, for 300 euros you can really expect more.

In general, it is easy to use and a relief to be able to pump hands-free. However, battery problems quickly came, so that you depend on the charger and are still glued to the socket. It's an expensive device, so you don't expect the battery to die that quickly. Unfortunately, it is not possible to return it for repair, because you need the device every day and are therefore forced to purchase a whole new one. Shame
