Braun CareStyle Compact IS 2132 WH

Due to its light weight and high steam power, the Braun CareStyle Compact IS 2132 WH is a relief compared to my steam iron. I make short work of stubborn creases and iron much faster. Fast heating and high steam power Because I often iron my clothes in the morning, it's nice that the steam generator heats up within 2 minutes. In addition, I not only start ironing faster, but I also finish earlier because the steam power is almost twice as high as that of my steam iron. And, perhaps more importantly, the result is a lot better. Folds that I couldn't get out before and took for granted, I now tackle with the steam boost of 400 grams per minute. I also use it to create creases in the board of my shirt. Lightweight and compact design The steam generator is compact and therefore fits as one of the few steam generators on a regular ironing board. I myself just leave the ironing board including iron, but I can imagine that the compact design is also easy to store. The light iron took some getting used to at the beginning. Still, it's nice not to have such a heavy device in your hand. The iron is more comfortable in the hand and I therefore move more smoothly and quickly. Vertical steaming What a steam iron cannot do, but a steam generator can do, is vertical ironing. I couldn't wait to try this as I haven't cleaned my curtains before. It also saves a trip to the dry cleaners. I refreshed my curtains once and it worked really well. The only problem I ran into was the steam hose that was too short, but this didn't spoil the fun. Automatic cleaning The steam generator came with a tray for automatic cleaning. By briefly pressing the 'clean' button, you activate the cleaning mode. This feature has real added value. The iron flushes itself, removing dirt and limescale. By doing this regularly, I keep the soleplate clean.

Heats up quickly and irons well
