Tefal Unlimited Crepe Pan 25cm

I've been looking for a good pancake pan for a while. Several I had to throw away because the bottom warped. That won't happen with this one, the bottom is heavy and thick. So it takes a little longer for it to get hot enough. The Thermo-Signal in the bottom slowly turns red throughout and that is the pan hot enough to bake in. The Titanium coating is safe and super strong, also for metal spatulas. So turning a thin pancake or omelette is easy, also because of the low edge. To extend the lifespan, it is recommended to wash by hand.

With this pan you can bake perfect wafer-thin crepes, provided you have the right recipe for batter: First mix 1 egg well with a tablespoon of sugar (I use erythritol). Then slowly add 60 grams of flour and 125 ml of milk. Then gently melt 1 tablespoon of butter and also mix into the batter. add a dash of brown rum if desired.

What an outcome! Perfect pancakes of shape and color (and taste). Good non-stick coating. I really should have had this pan sooner…
