When the battery of the robot is empty, it drives to the charging dock by itself and continues once it has enough battery.
You can control the robot via an app on your phone and via Amazon Alexa and Google Home.
When the robot empties its dust cup, this briefly makes a lot of noise.

Description

With the iRobot Roomba i7 + (i7558), you leave the vacuuming to the iRobot. This robot has an emptying station in which it empties the dust collector when its full. In this station, it also charges itself. You can control the robot via the button on the top, via voice assistant Alexa and Google Home, and via the iRobot app. At work during the day? Set up a time schedule in the app, so it vacuums while you're away. That's useful, because you come back to a vacuumed home. You can also set up zones where the robot vacuum isn't allowed to go in the app. Via the side brush, it also vacuums dust along the baseboards.

Fine! We have a labrador so it's easy if they suck every day. Never as good as by hand, but it also takes no time. Because of children we always turn it on manually (small playmobil items and such) and so far it has been going great.

I am very impressed with this robot vacuum cleaner. I find him noisy. In corona times not so handy with zoom and other sessions. Handy to put it to work and take a walk yourself.

Easy operation

I was afraid of the noise but this is not so bad. We have two dogs but Harry goes around the house and the hair is gone. I take Harry upstairs and enter the other card via the app and then as a bonus he goes for a round under the bed, that saves time!
