According to our vacuum expert
If you mainly have wood floors at home, the Dyson Big Ball Parquet 2 is a good choice for you. The special parquet brush has extra soft hairs, so the vacuum doesn't make scratches on your vulnerable floor. Do you also have low-pile carpet or a rug at home, then use the multi-surface brush. This automatically adjusts itself to the surface. While cleaning, the vacuum rides smoothly through the room thanks to the Dyson Ball technology. Does the vacuum fall over sometimes? It automatically puts itself upright again. The dust cup can easily be emptied in the trash can when it's full. The hatch slides down through the bottom so dust doesn't get in the air.
Automatic floor attachment
The floor attachment is a multi-surface brush, which you can use with any floor type. This smart floor attachment adjusts its height automatically to adapt to the surface. By creating a vacuum, it picks up every dirt participle.
Hygienic and easy to empty
The portable dust cup of the Dyson Big ball is easy to detach from the vacuum. Simply empty the cup over the trash can by opening the lid. This way, you can remove dirt and dust in a single movement and you won't have to touch any dirt.
Puts itself upright
The center of gravity of this vacuum is located in the ball, which makes the vacuum easy to maneuver around. Thanks to its center of gravity, you can effortlessly move the vacuum along your furniture without getting stuck behind any obstacles. Does it tip over? It will just put itself upright again.

I have been using this Dyson for 2 weeks. Before this I also had a Dyson DC 19 Allergy Parquet. This one stopped after 11 years. My experience at the moment is that I have to get used to it a lot. The push bar can be made very long and can be adjusted to my own length. I am 1.80 years old and that is an improvement compared to my previous Dyson. However, I do not find the way of setting practical. You have to press a button near the squeegee and then push/pull the other part up with your other hand and if possible also keep the squeegee on the floor with your foot. The push rod is made of plastic. On my previous one this was an easier operation and the push bar was aluminum and felt more solid. I personally do not find the accessories on the push bar practical. It prevents me from vacuuming under the furniture with the vacuum cleaner because it gets in the way. I also do not find it useful to exchange other suction nozzles, for example when vacuuming the stairs. This mouth is attached to the rod, I have to remove it first and then attach it to the handle. I need 2 hands for both actions. I feel like I'm always a hand short. With my previous Dyson, the attachments (3 pieces) were clicked onto the vacuum cleaner itself and I could remove it with one hand and attach it to the handle with one hand. That's no longer the case. The number of suction nozzles supplied is also too much in my opinion. There are a total of 8 pieces. 4 suction nozzles for the floor and 4 for other vacuuming operations. I myself have a hard floor upstairs and downstairs and carpet on the stairs. The experience after 2 weeks is that I use one suction nozzle for the floors and a small nozzle for the stairs. For the skirting boards and on the furniture I used to use the small brush that I held to the handle. But that little brush is now attached to a long rod. Personally, I don't find this practical because I'd rather hold the mouth myself than do it on the bar. But perhaps this can be confirmed in a different way, I have not discovered that yet and this is also a matter of getting used to it, I think. There are 2 of this brush on that rod and the other one you can pull out and one has a piece of flexible hose. But I don't know why there are 2 of them because you can also use them if the flexible hose is in it. Then there is a brush with which I think you can vacuum the slats / blinds and radiators. I also used that and that is practical, but you do not have it at hand because you cannot attach it to the vacuum cleaner, so it is stored in the cupboard. And then there's one more Furthermore, this vacuum cleaner is not much heavier or lighter than my previous one and does not make more or less noise, which according to the description should be 25% less noise. A vacuum cleaner makes a lot of noise. The suction power is fine and also much better than my previous one and I think emptying the dust container is an improvement compared to my previous Dyson. This is very simple. I can't say much about the reliability and durability as I have only had it for 2 weeks. Personally, I don't think the changes compared to my old Dyson are all an improvement. And also I find that this vacuum cleaner is not very practical. It seems to me that it was developed on the drawing board, without trying out in practice whether all the changes are practical. I am moderately enthusiastic but that is more about my feeling and I assume that it is a matter of getting used to it. All in all, it does what it's supposed to do well and that is suck up dust.

We made this investment based on our experience with the previous vacuum cleaner, also a dyson. We liked this one so much that we wanted to reward it by buying another one, the most expensive one. That turned out to be a mistake... - We have already received 3x parts under warranty - the on and off buttons are way too small. - the bristle brush gets stuck through long hair and breaks. - all accessories separate from the appliance. - the reservoir spontaneously disintegrates when you detach: all the rubbish spread over your floor as a result. Cannot be put together after emptying, the sliding mechanism is rickety. - an awful lot of noise. -Which was also a drawback with the previous one: no adjustable suction power, in any form. It seems that since the cordless vacuum cleaners, the corded vacuum cleaners have been neglected. After a good year quickly looking for something else.
