According to our laptop expert
Use the 15.6-inch HP ENVY X360 15-cn0300nd as a 'regular' laptop, or flip the keyboard and start using the touchscreen. With Windows Ink, you can quickly write a note during a lecture or meeting, or you can place the laptop in the upright tent position to watch a video on Netflix. The HP Envy is fast enough for demanding tasks like video editing. Thanks to the NVIDIA GeForce MX150 graphics card, graphics programs like Adobe Photoshop run more smoothly and you can play a game like Fortnite on low settings. The powerful battery lasts a working day without recharging and thanks to HP Fastcharge, the battery is 100% charged after about 1.5 hours.

I have owned this laptop for a week now and am very happy with it. I was looking for the best possible all-round laptop around 1000 euros that can handle various programs for work and private life and has sufficient storage space. My experiences in design and construction: - The laptop feels solid (including the folding screen) and has a compact, very nice appearance. - Keyboard has a nice resistance of the keys for writing. - Mouse pad is fine. - Sound is very nice for a laptop. - Screen may not be bright enough for bright environment. If you adjust the contrast and exposure, you can create some extra light, but that comes at the expense of image quality. I also think the (glossy) screen is very beautiful and of good quality and it also responds well in terms of touch function. My performance experiences: - Boots mega fast thanks to the SSD - Microsoft Office works great. Even when it comes to work with very large Excel files. - Photo editing of large RAW files (Adobe Photoshop) can easily be handled by the Laptop and the 16GB RAM certainly helps with this. The 1TB HDD is enough to store a good number of photos. - In terms of games, I only tested GTA5. With lower to normal graphics settings, the Laptop can easily handle the game. Limiting at higher settings is the graphics card (tested with performance monitor while playing). Of course, this is not a pure gaming laptop, so it was certainly not expected that it can handle GTA5 on the highest setting. All in all, this is a very good all-round laptop. In my estimation this is one of the best laptops around 1000 euros. If you are looking for more performance, a few hundred euros are often added. But I think this is only relevant if you do a lot of high-quality video editing or want to play a lot of games on the better graphics settings. As an additional note. First I wanted to buy the comparable HP Envy X360 15-bp130nd (50 euros more expensive) via Coolblue. Main differences: The HP Envy 15-cn0300nd has 16 GB instead of 8 GB of RAM, but is delivered without a pen for the touchscreen. And I think there is a difference in how the warranty is arranged (via Coolblue with this one and via HP and Coolblue with the 130nd). For me the higher RAM was beneficial because it helps a lot during photo editing.

This is a great laptop. You will not find the specifications with 256 SSD, 1TB HDD, i7 intel, 16GB and Touchscreen for this price! Touchscreen is highly recommended, especially for those who hiccup against a mouse arm or mouse hand, the touchscreen offers other options than just working with the mouse, so from a medical point of view, this already gives an advantage! Besides the fact that it is just very handy, ease of use! It certainly also gives an impression when I give a quick presentation to clients for business use. I've read a lot about the laptop, screen would be too dark and stuff. That's really nonsense, I've compared this with several laptops and it certainly comes out as one of the best in my test. I suspect that those who write that do not notice that the image darkens when the laptop goes into battery saving mode. That can be compared to your phone, when it goes into low-power mode, the brightness is about half. Picture is really perfect. For the rest really great laptop, flip it over and you have a tablet, very easy to use. I mainly use it for business. The battery is fine, although I expected that these things could last a whole day these days, after 6 hours it is empty. On the other hand, he leaves very quickly. Graphics card, I think this is a bit of a basic graphics card, works well. For real extreme graphics, I wouldn't recommend this card. It's good for photoshop, powerpoint presentations, movies,.. A laptop with these specs normally costs 500 euros more expensive and is really worth for that money!

Compared to more standard HP laptops, it feels very premium due to its aluminum housing. The laptop is very easy to prepare for use (be sure to use CoolBlue's tips to remove the bloatware). I haven't run any "heavy" programs on it yet, but it certainly seems nice and fast. The touchscreen is very pleasant. Especially if you use the laptop on your lap (scrolling on the screen is easier than with the touchpad). The added value of the "360" screen is a bit disappointing in practice (it has nothing to do with quality, but with how I use it).
