Description

The Ledger Nano S is a hardware wallet for all your cryptocurrencies. The compact wallet is suitable for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dash, and 16 other crypto coins. That means you can store your coins virtually on your crypto wallet. You can connect this digital wallet to your PC via USB and all your digital payments are secure right away. The Ledger Nano S makes use of a combination of a PIN code and secret words. Thanks to the clear OLED display, you can double check all your purchases and transactions. That means it's impossible to conduct a fraudulent transaction via your wallet. You gain more insight into your possessions and transactions via the special app. In addition, the Ledger is compatible with other wallets. The Nano S is compatible with Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android. Do you use iOS? You can only use Ledger Live in consultation mode.

Handy device, small downsides but better than competitor

Handy tool and does what it's supposed to do. The disadvantage is that you have to install 'apps' for the different currencies. The device is full after about 4 apps. You can transfer cryptos to your wallet and then delete the app, your coins will then remain. Then you can install another app. When you want to access your coins again, you have to install the app again. So very cumbersome. What I don't like is that you have to trust the company behind the Ledger. Everyone seems to be blindsided by this, but you never know if someone within the company has access to the issued public and private coins.

The Ledger Nano S looks simple yet sleek. Setting up a public key is very easy by means of the link to the website. In addition, there are 3 cards on which you can write down your 25 secret words
