Never thought a rice cooker could make such a difference. No more rice that is undercooked, overcooked, burnt or just a lot of work to make up for. Simply put in rice, add the correct amount of water, press the button and wait. You don't even have to enter time, the device knows when the rice is ready. He knows this 12 minutes in advance, so not from the start. So you don't know whether it will take 30 minutes or an hour, which is a disadvantage, but of course it is better than not knowing anything. Afterwards, it goes into the keep warm function, so it's not really a problem if the rest of your ingredients are not ready yet. You can also steam vegetables (and apparently also meat and fish, etc.) in it, and it's really nice that you can do both at the same time. Test 1: Cooking sushi rice to make Japanese chicken with rice (in the manner of Midnight Diner: Tokyo Edition episode S02E01. Luckily I saw the manual, because it says that you have to choose the 'brown rice' program for sushi rice. The sushi rice was perfect!The recipe was more than successful. Test 2: cook basmati rice and while carrots are steaming, add chicken and curry sauce to the pan. Again perfectly cooked rice and vegetables. The amount of carrots was a guess but both were done exactly together. And delicious again. I thought that a rice cooker was just a handy device for cooking rice, but this device goes a few steps further. The price is in my opinion certainly ok.

Rice cooks well and does not stick. Only made rice with timer function, but booklet says it takes thirty minutes for the rice to cook. Seems much longer than my previous rice cooker.

It is a compact rice cooker (smaller than my soup pot), which can hold enough rice for 6 people. Or enough rice + steamed vegetables, for our family of 2 adults and 2 small children. Operation is simple. The device has no unnecessary functions. A disadvantage is that you do not see how long it will take. 10 minutes before the device is ready, it starts counting down. But if it takes longer than 10 minutes, you don't know.
