According to our alarm clock expert
With the new Philips Wake-up Light HF3510/01, Philips has been inspired by the sun even more and the design has been adapted accordingly. On the basis of slowly increasing light, as is the case with a normal sunrise, your body gets prepared to wake up. The gradual change from the soft morning light to the bright afternoon sun makes getting up a lot easier. You also have 3 natural sounds (chirping birds, birds in the forest, and a zen garden) as well as an FM tuner at your disposal to really wake up on time. The Wake-up Light is also very suitable for quietly falling asleep. The light is slowly dimmed and ensures that you gradually fall asleep. Get even more out of your night's sleep with the Philips Wake-up Light HF3510/01.

My friend got a wake-up light from me. For several reasons. With the normal alarm clock.. - snoozed between 6.00 and 6.24; - so the radio went on every 8 minutes (sometimes with music that wasn't very nice either); - he - and so did I - then reluctantly jumped out of bed. (You don't come here to read a review of a regular alarm clock, but it is necessary, believe me). So December 5 was the day; he got a wake-up light for his birthday and of course I was very curious how the morning would go from then on. It goes like this with the wake-up light; - the light is turned on gently at six (position 4 because we think really very light is too much of a good thing) - around 6.15 am the first little birds chirp gently; - there is one snooze and when the birds present themselves again, the room is now filled with warm cozy light and the day can start. We choose soft birds and soft light; then the contrast with the normal alarm clock is also greatest. We have not used the radio yet. It is very nice that you can adjust how bright the light is and how loud the nature sounds. I am very curious how long the lamp will last. You cannot replace this. And that seems different in terms of durability than the Sony alarm clock that only needs a plug and has served faithfully for 20 years. However, the Coolblue employee told me that if the lamp breaks - even if it is in 5 years' time - they will help us to arrange it with Philips. So you pay a little more than at another establishment, but the service is top notch. The buttons are a bit small and sometimes difficult to find. That might also take some getting used to. Furthermore, the choice between these (3 sounds) or the other (5 sounds) has been a cost consideration, but no regrets because I think 3 is sufficient. Finally, I can recommend everyone to replace the alarm clock with this one. The stories are true; you really wake up a lot more relaxed! That's worth the money.

I wake up pleasantly and wake up with more energy. In the dark months it is very nice to wake up in the light!

After the terrible alarm clock tones that send you skyrocketing in your bed, this is a blissfully new experience. It's like waking up naturally with daylight and birds singing. Really great!
