After having had a previous DOMO, purchased this device. Previous device stayed with my ex, was very satisfied with it, and thought that this device would deliver the same quality. The larger diameter was also a plus for me, because I mainly want to cut bread with it. What I don't like is the knife. the bread is, as it were, flattened before it really starts to cut. I use this 99% for cutting homemade bread. The bread has cooled, have already tried variations of crusts, but remains the same. I think the knife should cut better.

I bought the device to cut bread. The blade is not perfectly aligned and therefore has a bit of a wobble, but it does what it is supposed to do, which is to cut. The slanted carriage can pivot outwards, which is extremely convenient for cleaning. Slices of bread sometimes get stuck at the bottom of the device, possibly due to the slide that doesn't go far enough? The device makes a lot less noise than my previous device. In addition, it is a sturdy device, no plastic rubbish.

Great for slicing homemade bread. In addition, also good cutting vegetables, carrots, sausage and even cheese (with young cheese leave the rind on for a while). The 150W motor is strong enough. So we're happy with it. . . highly recommended
