What does an installation day for heat pumps look like?

We'll explain step by step what we do during an installation day.

1. We'll come by.
2. We'll install the outdoor unit.
3. We'll connect the heat pump.

As soon as our installers are on their way, they'll call you. That way, you know at what time they'll be at your door. We'll park as close to your house as possible, so we can easily reach our supplies. So it's useful when you keep the front garden or driveway free as much as possible. Before we start the installation, we'll go through everything together. This way, you know what to expect from us.

First, we'll place the outdoor unit. Dependent on the model, we'll do this on an expansion, in the garden, or on the outer wall. We'll install the heat pump safely and sturdily. Then we'll pull the pipes inward, so we can connect the heat pump later. Does the heat pump have an indoor unit? We'll install it afterwards.

Then we'll connect the cables and pipes, so everything works correctly. Do you have a boiler or buffer tank? We'll also install this and connect the heat pump to your existing heating system afterwards, for example your floor heating or radiators.

During the final step, we'll adjust the settings of the heat pump. Then we'll test if everything works correctly and we'll change the settings if necessary. As soon as the installation is ready, we'll clean everything. Is the installation clear and are you completely satisfied? We'll sign the delivery report together. You can start with saving energy.
