How do you prepare for heat pump installation?

You've planned a heat pump installation by Coolblue Energy. Nice! With the tips in this article, you can prepare yourself for the installation day. That way, you can make it as easy as possible for the installers and we can get started right away.
Make sure you're home
The most important thing is for you to be home on the day of installation. That way, we can get everywhere we need to be and we can discuss possible questions right away. On the day itself, we'll tell you at what time we'll be at your house. The installation takes a day.
No warm water
During the installation, we connect the heating water to your heat pump. Do you als have a boiler of buffer tank? We'll also make sure this works well. That's why you don't have any cold or hot water during the installation. Do you need water in the meantime? Fill buckets with water.
Clear the road outside
We'll come by with a large van. We can work faster if we can park as closely to your house as possible. Clear the driveway for us or try to occupy a parking spot near your house. In case of high roofs, we'll install a scaffold. Do you have planters, bikes, or chairs in your garden? Remove them if they're on the side of your house where the heat pump will be installed. That way, we'll have all the space we need for the installation.
Clean inside the house as well
During the installation, we'll also work in your house. Clean boxes or other items near your boiler. This way, we have all the space we need for placing the indoor unit. Do you also need adjustments in your distribution board? Also clean your fuse box.
