Fixed energy contract

The rates are fixed for the duration of your contract. That means you pay a monthly fixed rate for electricity or gas. Your rate doesn't change, so you don't have to deal with increased prices. Do you like certainty? A fixed contract suits you.

At Coolblue Energy, you can choose from a 1-year or 3-year energy contract. Does your contract expire and don't you renew it? You'll automatically switch to a variable contract.

With dynamic energy, the energy price changes every hour. Energy is more affordable when the sun shines or when it's windy, for example. You ca benefit from this if you adjust your energy consumption to moments when the energy prices are low. Is it no problem for you to turn on your devices during the day and when the energy prices are low? A dynamic contract suits you.

Do you also choose gas from Coolblue Energy in addition to your dynamic contract? You pay a fixed amount per month for gas. This way, you benefit from affordable electricity and you get the certainty of fixed gas rates.

Step 1: Go to our website and enter your information. Choose which offer suits you and switch to Coolblue Energy.

Step 2: After your registration, you'll receive a confirmation of your agreement within 1 working day. We'll also help you to cancel your energy contract with your old energy supplier.

**Step 3:**You receive an email about the first payment via iDEAL.

Step 4: We'll read your meter readings or request them from you.

Step 5: The switch was successful, we'll supply your energy! You'll receive an email about your credit within 3 months.

What if I still have an ongoing contract with a different supplier?

If your current contract ends within a certain period of time, you can already switch. You can plan your start date in advance. That way, you don't miss out on the CoolblueCredit and you don't have to pay a cancellation fee.

How do I use my CoolblueCredit?

We automatically deduct your CoolblueCredit from the total amount. The only thing you have to do is pick out your products and log in to your account. You can also use your CoolblueCredit in the stores. Unfortunately, you can't use CoolblueCredit for Second Chance products.

What if my CoolblueCredit isn't in my account?

Check on which email address you received an email about your CoolblueCredit. Log in to your account with this email address. Don't have an account with this email address yet? You'll find a link to create a password in your CoolblueCredit email. Create a password using this link.

Do I have to spend all my CoolblueCredit at once?

No, you don't. You can find the remaining amount in your My Coolblue account.
