There are common rules for drones throughout Europe. This legislation doesn't distinguish between hobby and professional drone pilots. Drone activities are divided into 3 categories: open, specific, and certified. All drones up to 25kg belong in the open category. If your drone weighs less than 250g, you don't need a course. Which drones are for beginners?
DJI drones for beginners are compact, so you can easily take them with you. A beginner drone often weighs less than 250g, so you don't need a drone license to pilot it.
