Delivery and installation of televisions
Can you install and hang up my new television?
Yes. You can select these extra services on the page of the product you have chosen.
**Install TV
- We’ll install your TV during delivery.
- We’ll unpack the TV and mount it to the stand.
- We’ll connect the product to a working TV signal and set up the channels.
- We’ll connect the TV to WiFi and your peripherals, such as a DVD player or soundbar.
- We’ll take your old product with us if you’d like.
Some televisions also include installation service for a soundbar, if you've purchased one. You can find the service on the product page.
**Install and hang up TV
- We’ll unpack the TV and hang it on the wall with a mount you bought at Coolblue.
- We’ll connect the product to a working TV signal and set up the channels.
- We’ll connect the TV to WiFi and your peripherals, such as a DVD player or soundbar.
- We’ll take your old product with us if you’d like.
Some televisions also include installation and mounting service for a soundbar, if you've purchased one. You can find the service on the product page.
Mounting and installation check The delivery driver can only hang and install your television for you if:
- your wall is made of solid brick or solid concrete. We don't mount TVs on ceilings.
- there's a working TV signal where the television will be placed;
- you have all the necessary cables (such as an HDMI cable) during the installation. Don't have all of them yet? Make sure to order the necessary cables;
- the peripherals, such as a soundbar, already have cables near the TV. We only install peripherals for the television.
Will the delivery driver take my old television with them?
Yes, the delivery driver you take your television with them right away. How this works exactly, depends on the type of delivery.
Delivery by CoolblueDelivers
Make sure your old television is ready at the front door. Have you chosen installation for your new television? We'll take your old television with us from the place you used it in. Note: isn't it ready for us or do you want to use it a little longer? We can come back on a different day for € 50.
Delivery by PostNL
The PostNL delivery driver will take your old product with them if you follow these instructions.
You can also always drop off your television in one of our stores or a waste management center near you.
How do you prepare for a television installation or mounting service?
Installation service
- Make sure you have a working television signal in the spot where your television will be placed. This way, we can set up your channels.
- Make sure you have a working WiFi signal in the spot where your television will be placed, so we can connect your TV to the internet.
- Want to watch TV via a CI+ module? You need to have a suitable CI+ module first. Read everything on this in our advice article here.
- Make sure you have all the required cables (such as an HDMI cable) for the installation. Don't have them yet? Order them beforehand.
Mounting service
- This is only possible if you wall is made of solid brick or solid concrete. Not sure which type of wall you have? Go to our advice page. We don't mount TVs on ceilings.
- Prepare for the mounting service in the same way as for the installation service.
Can you choose a delivery time for your television yourself?
Delivery
Yes, you can choose the delivery moment that suits you best for large televisions. You have the following options:
- Morning: delivery between 07:30 and 12:00
- Afternoon: delivery between 12:00 and 17:00
- The whole day: delivery between 07:30 and 17:00
You pay delivery costs for delivery in the morning or afternoon. These costs vary between € 9 and € 39, dependent on the chosen delivery day and chosen delivery moment. Delivery during the whole day is free.
For televisions that are delivered by our delivery partners, you unfortunately can't choose your own delivery moment. You'll receive a time slot as soon as the delivery driver is on their way to you. Keep an eye on your Track & Trace for the current delivery time.
Installation and mounting
Yes, you can select the day that suits you best to install and mount your TV. We'll arrive between 07:30 and 18:00 on your chosen day.
- As soon as your order has been shipped, you'll receive a shipping confirmation via email. The email contains a Track & Trace to track your order. Keep an eye on this for the most current delivery information.
- In the night before the delivery, you'll receive a 1-hour time slot via email before 05:00. We do our best to deliver your product within that time slot.
- If our own delivery drivers are on their way, they'll call you 15 minutes before their arrival.
How can I prepare for the delivery of my television?
That depends on the services you chose. You can find the exact preparation per service below.
Normal free service
- We’ll put your new television next to the front door.
- We’ll take your old television with us if it’s next to the front door.
Will one of our delivery partners deliver your television? A PostNL delivery driver will take your product with them if you follow these instructions. You can also drop off your television in one of your stores, a PostNL point, or a recycling center near you.
Installation service
- Make sure you have a working television signal in the place you’re going to put the television.
- Make sure you have all the necessary cables, such as an HDMI cable. Don't have them yet? Make sure to order them.
- Make sure the peripherals, such as a soundbar, don't have to be pulled through the house with cables. The peripherals can only be installed near the television.
Installation and mounting service
- This service is only possible if your wall is made of solid brick or solid concrete. We don't mount televisions on ceilings.
- We only provide this service if you buy a wall mount as well. That way, we can be sure the TV fits on the mount.
- Prepare for delivery in the same way as for the regular service.
How will you keep me updated on the delivery of my television?
As soon as your order has been shipped, you'll receive a shipping confirmation via email. The email contains a Track & Trace to track your order. Keep an eye on this for the most current delivery information.
Will Coolblue delivery drivers deliver your television? On the day before the delivery, you'll receive a 4-hour time slot via email around 22:00. At night, you'll receive a more specific time slot of 1 hour. Our delivery drivers will call you 15 minutes before their arrival.
Will one of our delivery partners deliver your television? You'll receive a time slot for the delivery of your television on the delivery day. Keep an eye on the Track & Trace for the most current delivery information.
