Control the air purifier with the app
You can connect most Philips air purifiers to the Philips Air+ smartphone app. In the app, you get more insight into the air quality. You can see the air quality in your home and outside. The app keeps track of which dusts are in the air. When the air quality decreases, you receive a notification. You can control the air purifier remotely via the app. That way, you can easily turn it on when you're not home. The app also indicates when you have to replace the filter.
Cleaner air thanks to filters and sensors
The Philips air purifiers have smart sensors. These sensors measure the are 1000 times per second. That way, it accurately measures all particles in the air. When the air purifier detects pollution in the air, it automatically starts working harder. It removes particles from the air with the filters. The filter consists of 3 layers: a HEPA filter, carbon filter, and pre-filter. This way, it can remove dusts, viruses, allergens, bad odors, and more.
Also purify the air at night
In night mode, you can also use the air purifier in the bedroom at night. In this mode, the noise level is very low and the display light dims. That way, the air purifier won't bother you while you sleep. The 4000i Series also has an allergy sleep mode. In this mode, the air purifier detects whether there are allergens in the air at night. It works harder when it detects allergens, but does so with a low noise level. That way, you can sleep restfully and are less bothered by your allergies.
