How do you prepare for our build-in or installation service?
Make sure the kitchen is properly accessible
Do you want the product in your kitchen? Check the following:
- You currently have a kitchen in your house.
- The kitchen, or another place you want the product in, is easily accessible. Check the route from the front door, the hallway, or the stairs.
- Are any large objects blocking the way to the desired spot? Remove them.
- Do you want to adjust the kitchen to the product by removing part of a kitchen cabinet, for example? Do this yourself before the delivery drivers come by.
Make sure the product fits in your kitchen
Dishwashers
Do you need a service for dishwashers? Check the following:
- Make sure you have a socket near that works.
- Also make sure there's a faucet near that works. Check if it works properly by opening it all the way with a bucket underneath. Don't you have a faucet, or isn't it working properly? Contact a plumber.
- Ensure a properly working drain for your dishwasher. Keep the distance and length of the hoses in mind.
- Did you choose a fully or semi-integrated dishwasher? Check if you currently have a kitchen door with the right dimensions.
Fridges and freezers
Do you need a service for a fridge or freezer? Check the following:
- Make sure you have a socket near that works.
- Did you choose a built-in fridge or freezer? Make sure to choose the right niche dimensions and the right door system.
Have the old product ready
As part of our installation and build-in service, we can also take your old product with us. Do you want us to do so? Prepare the following:
- Clean the inside and outside of the product.
- Defrost your freezer or freezer compartment.
- Have the product ready at the front door.
Did you choose a build-in service? We'll remove the product for you, if it's not glued in place.
What does the build-in service include?
During our build-in service, our delivery drivers deliver the new dishwasher, fridge, or freezer, build it in, and make sure everything works. We'll take the old model and packaging with us. We don't adjust your kitchen, put the plumbing in place, or adjust your product. You have to call a kitchen mechanic or plumber for that.
