QR code
At the top right of the energy label of your dishwasher, there's a QR code that you can scan. If you scan it with the camera of your phone, you'll go to the website of the European Union. Here, you'll find all the information that's on the label and some extra product information. So you can see all product specifications of the appliance and get access to test reports and technical information on the energy consumption of your dishwasher.
Energy label
The energy-efficiency of your dishwasher is indicated on the energy label. The label runs from A to G. The closer to A, the better the appliance in terms of consumption and your energy bill. Does the appliance have a D energy label or lower? That means it's not an energy-efficient appliance.
Energy consumption
In addition to the energy label, you can also find the energy consumption on the label of your dishwasher. The consumption is expressed in kilowatt hours per 100 dishwasher cycles. To calculate how much the annual energy costs are per 100 dishwasher cycles, simply multiple the number of kilowatt hours by € 0.30.
Capacity
How much capacity your dishwasher has, depends on the number of place settings that fit in your dishwasher. A single place setting equals everything 1 person needs for a meal. This includes a coffee cup, plate, cutlery, bowl, and glass, for example. Cooking utensils such as pans and cutting boards aren't included. If you want to clean the dishes of 4 people in one go, choose a dishwasher that's suitable for 12 place settings.
Water consumption
On your energy label, you can also find the water consumption of your dishwasher. The number of liters on your energy label indicates how many liters of water your appliance uses per dishwasher cycle.
Cycle duration
The cycle duration on the energy label of a dishwasher indicates how long it takes the appliance to run a dishwasher cycle. The number of hours and minutes is always based on the eco cycle of the appliance.
Noise level
The noise level on the energy label indicates how loud or silent your dishwasher is during a dishwasher cycle. Are you looking for a silent dishwasher for an open kitchen? Buy a dishwasher with a noise level lower than 43dB. Is the appliance in a closed kitchen? A loud 46dB noise level dishwasher is no problem.
