Water remains in the condensation container, what now?

You've connected your heat pump dryer to a drain, but there's still water in the back of the condenser reservoir. That may seem wrong, but it's normal. The machine uses this water for the next dryer cycle. Read how this works below.

The water cleans the condenser

Condenser reservoir

When you dry your laundry, the condenser condenses the moisture in your laundry. During the dryer cycle, the condenser reservoir in the top of your dryer collects this moisture. If you've connected the machine to the drain, the water ends up in your drain hose. Still, there's always some water left in the reservoir. The machine uses this water to clean the condenser during the next dryer cycle. So you should leave the water in the reservoir
