How do you reset your Fitbit Alta and Fitbit Alta HR?
Doesn't your Fitbit Alta responds anymore? Or doesn't the watch connect to your smartphone? You can often solve these problems if you reset your Fitbit. We'll explain how to do so in this article.
Reset in 3 steps
If you reset your Fitbit Alta, you actually restart it. You keep all your data.
- Connect your Fitbit to your laptop or computer. Does your Fitbit vibrate? You can be sure it's charging.
- Pres the button on the flat side of the charger 3 times. This flat end is fixed to the USB-A connector. Wait 1 second after pressing each time.
- You now see the Fitbit logo. This means your Fitbit restarts. Disconnect the Alta from the charger. You just reset your Fitbit.
