Get started with the Omron Complete
With the following tips, you can get the most from your Omron Complete blood pressure monitor.
Tip 1: discover the connection between your heart rate and blood pressure
Tip 2: use the electrocardiogram
Tip 3: create an overview of your results in the app
Tip 1: discover the connection between your blood pressure and heart rate
Both your blood pressure and heart rate tell you something about your health. That's why they're often measured together with a blood pressure monitor. The Omron complete is a blood pressure monitor that neatly combines these 2 measurements. That way, you can see how your blood pressure and heart rate relate to each other. The data of both measurements are put next to each other, so you can notice relations faster.
Tip 2: use the electrocardiogram
Put your thumbs on the ECG sensors to analyze your heart rhythm. If the Omron blood pressure monitor detects an irregular heart rate, you get a notification. In that case, it's smart to see your GP. Other blood pressure monitors often also measure your heart rate, but they're less accurate and don't have atrial fibrillation detection. This is a common cardiac arrhythmia.
Tip 3: create a neat overview of your results in the app
You can connect the Omron Complete to the Omron Connect app via Bluetooth. You can place your smartphone in the holder of the blood pressure monitor, so you can see the results of the measurement on your screen right away. It also saves all measurements, so it clearly shows the course of your health. This also makes it easier to discuss your results with your GP. Is your blood pressure too high, or did the Omron blood pressure monitor detect an irregular heart rate? The app will notify you.
