How do you level a fridge?
Level a fridge in 5 steps
You can level your fridge with these 5 steps:
- Step 1. Find the right spot
- Step 2. Remove the grid
- Step 3. Adjust the legs
- Step 4. Level the fridge
- Step 5. Place the grid back
Step 1: find the right spot
Before you can level the fridge, you must find a good spot first. Choose a floor that's as level as possible. Make sure that this is a spot close to a socket or maybe a water supply. Keep in mind that you need space to open and close the doors.
Step 2: remove the grid
The legs are underneath the fridge. It's possible that there's a grid in front of it. Unscrew the grid. In the manual, you can find how you can do this the correct way.
Step 3: adjust the legs
You can adjust the fridge if you put a flat screwdriver into the slots of the adjustable legs. Turn it clockwise to raise the fridge, and counter-clockwise to lower the appliance. Try to level the fridge from left to right. Can't you reach the legs? Ask somebody to slightly tilt the fridge backwards.
Step 4: level the fridge
Level the fridge. Make the fridge lean backwards slightly, so the doors close easily. Place a spirit level on top of the fridge, behind the door. Is the fridge still not placed right? Repeat step 3 until it's right.
Step 5: place the grid back
In this last step, you can place back the grid that you maybe removed in step 2. You have leveled the fridge.
