How do you clean your Apple AirPods?
Clean AirPods
It's important to keep your AirPods clean. Read how to clean the following earbuds below.
- AirPods 4
- AirPods 4 Active Noise Cancellation
- AirPods Pro 2
Cleaning the AirPods 4 and AirPods 4 Active Noise Cancellation
When you use your Apple AirPods 4 and AirPods 4 Active Noise Cancellation a lot, there's probably some dirt in the speaker mesh. Regularly go over the speaker mesh with a dry cotton swab, and use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. If you remove all dirt here, you prevent the dirt from getting deeper into your earbuds. Never clean your AirPods with water or sharp objects.
Clean AirPods Pro 2
The AirPods Pro 2 are in-ear earbuds, so they get dirty between the ear tips if you use them a lot. If you don't clean this in time, the dirt will get to the speaker mesh. Remove the ear tips from the earbuds and rinse them with water, then dry them with a cloth. To clean the AirPods Pro 2 themselves, you use a dry cotton swab or a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Gently go over the speaker mesh. Never clean the earbuds with water, other damp items, or sharp objects.
