How do you solve error messages on the De'Longhi Dinamica and Magnifica?

We'll explain what the symbols below mean and what you can do to make them disappear.

Water pitcher symbol
1: if this symbol starts blinking, there's not enough water in the water tank. You should refill the water tank with fresh water.
2: if you see this symbol, the water tank wasn't places correctly. Push the water tank down so it's firmly in place.
Coffee grounds container symbo
1: if this symbol starts blinking, it means that the coffee grounds container is full. Take the coffee grounds container out of the coffee machine and empty it. Place it back into the machine when you're done.
2: if you see this symbol, the coffee grounds container wasn't placed correctly. Take both the drip tray and the coffee grounds container out of the machine. Make sure they're attached correctly and place them back in the machine.
Coffee beans + exclamation mark symbol
1: if the exclamation mark appears and the coffee beans blink, it means that the bean hopper is empty. Refill the bean hopper.
2: if both symbols blink, the funnel for the ground coffee is clogged. You can easily unclog the funnel with the included long brush or with the handle of a spoon. Stick it in the compartment for ground coffee and move it up and down a few times. The ground coffee will fall down, which you should clean right away.
Coffee scoop + exclamation mark symbol
1: if this symbol blinks and you see the exclamation mark, you're making a cup of coffee with pre-ground coffee but haven't put in the ground coffee yet. Put a scoop of ground coffee in the compartment at the top of the machine.
2: if both symbols blink, the grind size of the pre-ground coffee is too fine and causes the coffee to pour out too slowly or not at all. Try to make a new cup of coffee with pre-ground coffee that isn't as fine. Turn the steam/hot water switch to the 'I' setting and let some water run through until the steam comes out continuously.
Steam + water pitcher + exclamation mark symbol
1: if all the symbols blink, you should turn the steam/hot water switch to the 'I' setting until no steam or water comes out. Then, turn the switch to the '0' setting. Didn't this solve the problem? Check if the water tank is places correctly.
Exclamation mark symbol
1: if you see this symbol, it means that the coffee machine is very dirty and hasn't been cleaned for too long. In the manual, look for 'Cleaning' and carry out all the steps to fully clean the coffee machine.
2: if this symbol starts blinking, you've forgotten to put the brew group back in the machine. Place it back in the machine.
Steam symbol
1: if this symbol starts blinking, the machine indicates that you have to turn the steam switch. This activates or stops the steam supply.
Descaling symbol
1: if this symbol blinks, you'll have to descale the coffee machine soon.
Descaling symbol urgent
1: if you see this symbol, it means that you have to descale the coffee machine as soon as possible to prevent errors.
