You need:
- Krups water filter
- Container of at least 600ml
How often should you replace the water filter?
Replace the water filter of your Krups fully automatic machine every 2 months. The water filter filters limescale and chloride particles from the water. This allows you to prevent limescale in the pipes of the machine. This is also how you keep the machine in good condition, so the coffee machine continues to do its job properly.
Step 1: place the water filter
- Remove the water tank from the coffee machine.
- Remove the old water filter with the attachment.
- Take the new water filter.
- Rotate the dial to the current month.
- Place the attachment on the water filter and screw the water filter into the water tank.
- Remove the attachment from the water filter.
- Place the water tank back in the coffee machine.
Step 2: install the water filter
- Place a container of at least 600ml under the coffee outlet and steam wand.
- Turn on the coffee machine.
- Press the button with the spray symbol for 3 seconds.
- The machine starts rinsing.
- During rinsing, the indicator light flashes. The coffee machine is ready when the indicator light stays on continuously without flashing.
- Empty the container
- The water filter is now installed.
