How often should you descale?
You clean your coffee machine once very 3 months. The machine will notify you when it's time. It's important that you really perform this maintenance. That way, your pipes don't get blocked, and you extend the lifespan of your machine.
Step 1: prepare the descaling
1: activate the 'Calc'n Clean' program via the menu 2: empty and clean the drip tray and place it back 3: dissolve a descale tablet in 0.5L of water 4: pour the water in the water tank when the tablet is dissolved 5: place a 1L container under the coffee nozzle
Step 2: descale the machine
1: press 'Ok' to start the program 2: the program takes about 20 minutes 3: rinse the water tank and fill it with fresh water to the 'Max' level 4: empty the drip tray and place it back 5: place a cleaning tablet in the drawer for ground coffee 6: place a 1L container under the coffee nozzle 7: empty the drip tray and place it back 8: you're done with descaling
