How often should you descale?
if you descale the coffee machine, limescale doesn't stand a chance to build up in the pipes of the machine. This powerful descaling liquid ensures the best coffee flavor and keeps the machine in good condition. The coffee machine indicates when it's time for a descaling session, which is once every 3 months.
Step 1: prepare the descaling
1: press and hold the 'Cal'n Clean' button for 5 seconds. 2: remove the drip tray and the coffee grounds container. 3: remove the brew group. 4: place a cleaning tablet in the small container on the right side of the brew group. 5: put the brew group back in the machine. 6: place the drip tray and the coffee grounds container back in the machine and close the cover.
Step 2: descale the machine
1: place a 1L container under the coffee outlet. 2: remove the water tank and take out the water filter. 3: put a cleaning tablet in the water tank. 4: pour half a liter of lukewarm water in the water tank. 5: put the water back in when the tablet is completely dissolved. 6: Press and hold the 'Calc'n Clean' button until the 'Calc'n Clean' symbol appears. 7: the machine is now being descaled and cleaned. 8: empty the drip tray as soon as the 'Calc'n Clean' light starts blinking.
Step 3: complete the cleaning cycle
1: open the cover and empty the drip tray. 2: put it back in and close the cover. 3: remove the water tank and empty it. 4: rinse it with water and put the water filter back in. 5: fill the water tank with water up to the 'MAX' level. 6: put the water tank back in. 7: place the container under the coffee outlet again. 8: press the 'Calc'n Clean' button. 9: the machine completes the last step of the cleaning cycle automatically. 10: when the symbol lights up, the cleaning cycle is done. 11: empty the container and the drip tray and put the drip tray back in. 12: you've finished descaling the machine.
