You need:
- De'Longhi milk cleaner
- Mild dish soap
- Drinking water
How often do you clean the milk system?
Clean the nozzle of the milk system with a sponge after each preparation and remove all milk residue. You clean the milk system everyday by disassembling the parts. In addition, we recommend cleaning the milk system once a week with the De'Longhi EcoMultiClean. This milk cleaner removes all milk residue from the milk system.
Step 1: prepare the cleaning
- Remove the milk reservoir from the machine.
- Take the lid off the milk reservoir.
- Detach the milk spout and intake tube.
- Set the froth adjustment dial to 'Insert'and pull it upwards.
Step 2: start cleaning
- Carefully clean all of the parts under the faucet with warm water and a mild dish soap. You can also place the parts in the upper rack of the dishwasher.
- Rinse the seat for the froth adjustment dial with water.
- Check that there's no milk residue left in the hollow and groove below the dial. You can easily remove residue with a toothpick.
- Replace the dial at the level of 'Insert'. Place the milk spout and intake spout onto the milk reservoir.
- Place the lid back onto the milk reservoir.
- Click the milk reservoir back in place in the coffee machine.
