First impression of the ATAG DW7214MB dishwasher
When I open the dishwasher, I see that the appliance has a lot of space for dirty dishes. In addition to the standard lower and upper rack, the dishwasher also has a small third pull-out drawer for cutlery, spatulas, and knives. When I have a lot of dirty cutlery, I use the extra cutlery basket at the bottom of the dishwasher. The drawers slide out very easily and far. This is nice when I load the dishwasher. The B energy label also stands out. This makes it more energy-efficient than most dishwashers.
Rinsing isn't necessary
The great thing about this ATAG dishwasher is the Super Cleaning System. This system cleans the entire machine and filter right away after pre-rinsing the dishes. The main cycle starts with a clean machine, rinsed dishes, and clean water. This means that it's not necessary to rinse plates and cutlery before you load them into the dishwasher. That saves me time and ensures that my dirty dishes come out really clean.
Many cycles, little noise
I can select all cycles via the sensor buttons. I simply go through through the cycles via the 'PROG' button. In the manual, I can see that there's an Eco cycle, universal cycle, short cycle, and more. I use the intensive program for my dirty pans and oven dishes with stubborn food rests. I can select the cycle mode 'fast' or 'night' with the first button on the right of the display. The fast mode shortens the program well. This way, I have clean dishes fast. With the night mode, the dishwasher is 2dB more silent than usual. This is especially nice when you place the dishwasher in an open kitchen.
Dry dishes after the cycle
I find it annoying if I still have to dry my dishes after the cycle has finished. Luckily, that;s not the case with this dishwasher. The Turbo Combi Drying function automatically opens the dishwasher after the dishwasher cycle. The appliance then sucks in dry air and blows all dishes dry with an extra fan. This means my dishes dry very quickly. I can even take out my plastic containers from the appliance when they're dry and put the clean dishes back in the cupboard right away.
Conclusion
Cleaning your dishes is very easy with this ATAG dishwasher. You don't have to rinse your dirty dishes yourself beforehand. And it's not necessary to dry them after the dishwasher cycle either. The dishwasher is a good choice when you need a lot of space, thanks to its spacious layout. Do you have an open kitchen? This is a good appliance in that case as well. The dishwasher is very silent, so you won't be bothered by any disturbing noise.
