Nintendo Switch (OLED model)
Since 2017, the Nintendo Switch has been one of the most successful Nintendo consoles of all times. It was to be expected that they would build on the concept of the handheld console. On 8 October 2021, the successor was introduced. This was the Nintendo Switch OLED model. This version was renewed in a couple of ways, compared to the current Switch. With an improved display and adjustable stand, the console meets the current desires of gamers.
OLED screen for vibrant colors
After years of rumors, it's final. Nintendo builds an OLED screen of 7 inches (17.8cm) into the new Switch. This ensures colors that are even more vibrant than the colors you're used to of the regular screen. That way, games seem even more realistic. The OLED screen also comes with an adjustable stand, so you can always game ergonomically.
Handheld mode vs separate controllers
Just like with the Nintendo Switch, you'll receive detachable controllers with the latest Switch. These are called Joy-Cons. This means that the console doesn't have built-in controllers that you can use to control your game. Even though some fans are disappointed by this, it makes it a lot easier to game with your friends. In addition, the Switch with the renewed OLED screen is just as easy to take with you as the current version.
Optimized games
The improved screen comes out best when you play games that are next-gen ready. Just like the screen, the latest Nintendo games meet high-quality standards. Thanks to this, the worlds in games look more realistic and you can immerse completely into the new adventures that you enjoy with characters like Link from The Legend of Zelda, Pokémon trainer Ash Ketchum, and Donkey Kong from the Super Mario series.
